Fall 2000 Milwaukee Show

at the Mitchell Domes, Sep 23 and 24

A small, but sincere exhibit

The IOS Exhibit

Joe

Joe Dixler is there for teardown.  Rosalie is somewhere nearby too.

The shirt was on sale ... right?

No Teardown Crew would be complete without Leo Schordje ... (remember that shirt) ...

Lois

... and Lois Cinert was there (George was camera-shy, but he's around).

It was attracted to the shirt ...

Then a rather strange critter hopped across the path.   That fellow in the stylish shirt, at great personal risk, chased it down.  He identified it as the fearsome camel cricket, sometimes called a cave cricket.  It is not from our climes and may have hitched a ride from a southern exhibitor, we speculated.

... but but but ... i've already given it a name!

"Here," he said, "they're great deep-fried in batter and washed down with a beer."
