Abolish yellow tags!
You will be able to register your plants via the computer. These instructions will take you through the necessary steps. You do not need to be a computer geek to use this system. We think you will find it relatively painless.
Step 1: Obtain your exhibit ID number:
When you register as an exhibitor you will be assigned an Exhibit ID number. You will also be asked to provide an E-mail address. If you use Excel then you may choose to have us e-mail the data entry spreadsheets directly to you. If you do not use Excel, then we will set up a site on Google with the spreadsheets for exhibitor and plant entry data. Your access ID is the e-mail address you provided. We will e-mail you with the password required for access.
Step 2: Planning your entries:
The following information is required for a plant entry:
Exhibit ID The number assigned to your exhibit (see above)
Exhibitor ID Identification of the individual exhibitor (more on this below)
Class The Class designation for the entry [see IOS Entry Schedule]
Entry Name The Genus (and species, if a species plant)
Parent 1 If a species plant enter species; if a hybrid then enter 1st parent
Parent 2 If a species leave blank; if a hybrid enter 2nd parent
AOS Whether or not the entry is to be AOS judged. The default is Yes. You will change this to No if you wish it to be excluded from AOS judging.

Step 3: Assigning Exhibitor ID's:
Each exhibitor in your exhibit needs a unique Exhibitor ID. You will use the Exhibit ID number followed by a letter(s). The following is required to complete the Exhibitor Spreadsheet:
Exhibitor ID - The number assigned to your exhibit (see above)
Exhibitor ID The Exhibit ID number followed by a letter
Exhibitor Name
Lets assume you have been assigned an exhibit number 03. If you are entering the exhibit itself for judging, then assign 03A as the Exhibitor ID for your organization. You then continue with 03B, 03C, .. for each individual exhibitor. Should you have more than 26 exhibitors, then use 03AA, 03AB etc.

Step 4: Decide on your form of entry:
You have a number of options by which you can submit your entries.
A). Direct e-mail of spreadsheets: We will e-mail your data entry spreadsheets to you. If you like, complete them and simply e-mail them back.
B). Use Google account: We will set up an account for you on Google. Access your Google account and enter the data in the Exhibitor Spreadsheet and then the Entry Data Spreadsheet [You can copy & paste from spreadsheets at home]. When finished e-mail us, and we will download the data.
C). Bring the completed Data Entry Spreadsheets with you. When finished filling out the spreadsheets save on a CD or a Flash Memory Stick [with USB connector]. Bring this to the show [Thursday 4/26, or Friday 4/27] and we will upload the data.
The Deadline for internet submissions [A or B above] is 6pm Wednesday April 25th.
E-mail us and let us know which entry technique you wish to use. Regardless of your choice, bring a hard-copy list with you to the Show.
Last minute changes, deletions, additions will be done at the Show Prep Thursday 4/26, and Friday 4/27. If you have any questions e-mail me at:
