Native Orchids

The midwest is home to dozens of terrestrial orchid species. Some of our members and friends are keenly involved in photographing them and in conservation and propagation activities with them. They have graciously shared their photos with us and we thank them for that and urge them to continue locating native orchids, photographing them, and sending us the pictures!

Doug and Wauneta Kerr (COOS members) are sharing photos taken at their summer retreat at Twitchell Lake in the West Central Adirondacks and at Remsen Bog.  Click Here for those.
